Four airlines have changed or will change terminals at LAX in conjunction with the airport’s capital improvements program.
In March, Spirit Airlines, Great Lakes Airlines and Alaska Airlines relocated. Spirit Airlines moved from Terminal 6 to Terminal 3. Great Lakes Airlines moved from Terminal 6 to Terminal 7. Alaska Airlines moved from Terminal 3 to Terminal 6. The Alaska Airlines move follows completion of a $271 million renovation that increased lobby space and installed customer friendly check-in kiosks, bag-check stations and a behind-the-scenes, checked-luggage security screening system. New boarding gates and airline lounges are also included.
This month, AirTran Airways will relocate from Terminal 3 to Terminal 1. www.lawa.aero/lax
