The 60-room Sugar Ridge boutique property in Antigua recently opened the doors of its new Aveda Concept Spa. The 6,000-square-foot spa occupies the ground floor of the resort’s Sugar Club restaurant. The spa has four treatment rooms, including one for couples.
The guest experience begins with a customized beauty or spa treatment consultation. Therapies range from fusion stone massage — which incorporates warm river stones to relax the muscles and stimulate the circulation — to chakra balancing massage, focusing on deep tissue massage, foot reflexology and energy work. Guests can also opt for facial and body treatments, hair services, manicures and pedicures. A gym is adjacent to the spa.
