Antonio Banderas Loves His Travel Agent

Feb 13, 2012

Antonio Banderas has a large multigenerational family, and he travels all the time. So, when I asked the actor and Iberostar brand ambassador if he uses a travel agent, he didn’t even take a breath before listing the reasons why he loves Ana, his travel agent of 13 years.

“[Travel agents] make everything easy,” said Banderas. “You don’t need to worry. If I need to travel to Spain, for example, all I need to do is call that person.”

Travel agents make Banderas’ life easier by providing him with services at the airport, including transportation. Banderas also noted that travel agents are well connected, allowing them to do things that are hard for clients to do themselves, such as making last minute changes to trip itineraries.

Banderas especially recommends travel agents for families — multigenerational groups with older children who may live or travel independently.

“For us, for a family who travels a lot — we have kids now, 26 and 22 years old, who are moving all the time — it just makes everything unbelievably easy.”
