Austin-Lehman Adventures (ALA), which has sold adventure vacations in the Americas, Europe, Africa and the Caribbean for 38 years, is adding four small-ship expedition cruise programs, inaugurating a new cruise division.
“Our past guests asked us to bring more small-ship adventure cruises into our mix, and this is just what we’re doing,” said Dan Austin, ALA’s founding director.
Beyond its current offerings in the Galapagos, Glacier Bay, Alaska, and the Amazon, Austin said that Antarctica is on the company’s 2013 radar.
Current offerings include the new seven-night Ecuador/Galapagos Land & Sea tour with five nights onboard the M.C. Athala II, a private, 16-passenger luxury yacht, with rates starting at $5,498 per person and a seven-night Northern Passages & Glacier Bay itinerary onboard InnerSea Discoveries’ 76-guest Wilderness Explorer, priced from $3,862 per person.
