Redondo Beach, Calif.’s waterfront hotel, The Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club, has selected Christopher T. Bracken for the position of director of sales and marketing.
“We are pleased to have Chris onboard,” said general manager Malia Osterbauer. “His talents and considerable experience will be invaluable as we continue to position The Portofino Hotel as a leading Southern California destination property.”
Bracken joins The Portofino Hotel & Yacht Club with more than 25 years of sales and marketing experience. Most recently, Bracken served as vice president of sales and marketing for Visit Jacksonville, an organization to boost tourism in Northeast Florida.
In his new position, Bracken will oversee all sales and marketing activities for the 161-room hotel, which also includes Baleen Los Angeles, a standalone restaurant; a 181-slip marina and 19 residential apartments.
