Carnival Cruise Lines is switching the homeports of its Carnival Inspiration and Carnival Paradise for fall 2011. The Carnival Inspiration, currently based in Tampa, Fla., will be repositioned to Long Beach, Calif. for three- and four-day Baja departures while the Carnival Paradise, currently based in Long Beach, will be moved to Tampa for four- and five-day Caribbean voyages. During their switch, each ship will offer 14-day Panama canal voyages. The Long Beach to Tampa itinerary departs on Nov. 28, 2011, while the reverse itinerary departs on Dec. 3, 2011. Early Saver rates for these voyages start at $949 per person, based on double occupancy.
