Embassy Suites-Waikiki Beach Walk has appointed Susan Kaui Koehler as the resort’s new director of sales and marketing. She is tasked with spearheading all sales and marketing efforts for Embassy Suites’ flagship leisure resort, located on the island of Oahu.
“With more than two decades of experience in this field and an intrinsic understanding of our target markets, Susan [Koehler] makes an ideal addition to our team,” said Bob Yeoman, general manager. “We welcome her home to Hawaii and look forward to the exciting ideas and initiatives she will bring to the table.”
Koehler joins the team at Embassy Suites-Waikiki Beach Walk after 18 years with Embassy Suites Mandalay Beach Hotel & Resort in Oxnard, Calif. She brings extensive experience with business development, sales-team training and management, plus familiarity with marketing beachfront resort properties from her time as senior sales manager and then director of sales and marketing.
