Dubai-based international air carrier Emirates and air carrier Virgin America have partnered to provide travelers with connecting service on Virgin America from Emirates' two West Coast gateways -- Los Angeles and San Francisco. Connecting service will now be available to such cities as Boston; Dallas/Fort Worth; Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, Fla.; Las Vegas; San Diego; Seattle; Washington D.C.; and Toronto.
Emirates currently flies twice daily from Los Angeles, and daily from San Francisco, nonstop to Dubai. An
Emirates lounge is set to debut at the San Francisco International Terminal in February 2011. Bookings for the new connecting services may be made on Emirates airfare tickets only.
