Ensemble Names Shirk VP of Marketing

Jan 30, 2013
Ensemble Travel Group has recently brought on Georganne Shirk as its newest vice president of marketing.  In her new position, Shirk will be responsible for creating an overall North American marketing strategy to cater to the needs of the organization’s members and travel partners. She will also be working to improve efficiency in several of the company’s departments.

“At Ensemble, I’ll be able to build on this experience to strengthen our marketing portfolio and ensure that we clearly deliver best-of-breed product and service for our members and supplier partners,” said Shirk.

Shirk comes to Ensemble with over a decade of experience in the consumer products industry, having managed such brands as Skippy Peanut Butter, Slim-Fast, L’Oreal Skin Care and Hair Care, Aqua Velva and Dixie Cups and Plates. While working on Unilever’s Skippy and Slim-Fast products she won several awards for her work, and under her leadership the L’Oreal Skin Care line grew from No. 4 to No. 3 in the U.S.
