Two members of Ensemble Travel Group board of directors, Susan Tanzman and Susan Susan Weissberg, have been recognized as part of the travel industry’s elite group of top specialists in Conde Nast Traveler.
Susan Tanzman, president of Martin’s Travel and Tours in Los Angeles was named a Hawaii specialist for the fifth consecutive year. Tanzman has worked in Hawaiian tourism since 1974 and will be featured in a Travel Channel segment on Oahu this January. Having made over 200 visits to Hawaii, she is noted for her first-hand expertise and strong relationships with local suppliers which allow her to coordinate unique experiences such as a chef-prepared intimate lunch on a remote beach, a surfside wedding reception for up to 200 guests and more.
Susan Weissberg, president of Wyllys Professional Travel in Coral Gables, Fla., was honored as a specialist in the Israel category for the sixth consecutive year. Backed by nearly 40 years of experience, Weissberg built up her expertise while working as a travel agent in Tel Aviv and accompanying her clients on tours to gain a true understanding of client’s preferences. Weissberg maintains her status by continuing to join her clients on special tours and cruises as well as making personal visits to newly renovated hotels throughout Israel.
