GIANTS, the 36-year-old travel agency network, has changed its name
to Ensemble Travel as part of a brand-building strategy.
The new brand is a step in the evolution from a
business-to-business organization to a business-to-consumer network
focused on helping its members grow their business. Ensemble’s
tagline is, “Experience that takes you places.”
GIANTS was originally formed as the Greater Independent
Association of National Travel Services.
Other steps recently taken: preferred suppliers reduced from
more than 100 to about 40; membership rolls trimmed to 1,500; and
increased sales volume with preferred suppliers by about 50 percent
through April when compared to the same period a year ago.
