Phillip Gordon has been named president and CEO of Littleton,
Colo.-based Group Voyagers Inc., which markets its tour products as
Globus & Cosmos. Previously chief operating officer, Gordon has
been with the company for 28 years.
Gordon was named to the position after the tragic death in late
January of Paolo Mantegazza, 34, the son of Sergio Mantegazza,
president of the Globus Group, based in Lugano, Switzerland. “While
my family and I are extremely devastated by the loss of our son, I
am relieved that we have such an experienced and highly qualified
member of our management team to continue to grow our business and
maintain the highest quality standards our customers and travel
partners have come to expect,” Sergio Mantegazza said.
