In April 2011, Iberia will resume nonstop service from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) to Madrid with four weekly flights. The new route will be the only nonstop service between Spain and the West Coast.
Additionally, four other airlines recently announced that they will begin daily service from LAX to new overseas markets:
All Nippon Airways will commence daily service to Tokyo-Haneda International Airport on Nov. 11; Delta Airlines will fly to Tokyo-Haneda starting on Feb. 11, 2011; Emirates will add a second daily flight to Dubai on Oct. 31; and Turkish Airlines will begin service to Istanbul, Turkey, on March 11, 2011.
