Guestrooms New 2008 vacation
packages are now available
for booking.
The Walt Disney Travel Company has unveiled its 2008 vacation
packages for the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort.
Key features include early entry into Disneyland Park in Southern
California and new dining add-on options at the Walt Disney World
Resort in Florida. Travel agents booking Florida vacations can
continue to offer clients great value with Disney’s Magic Your Way
Package with rates starting as low as $1,600 for a family of
four.
In California, Disney Dream Vacation packages are available at
either Disney on-site hotels or at one of more than 40 conveniently
located Anaheim-area Disneyland Resort Good Neighbor hotels. The
packages include hotel accommodations and Disneyland Resort Park
Hopper tickets, which allow guests to participate in the Early
Entry program to experience the new Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage
before the park opens to the general public. Guests can also join
the Disney characters in Mickey’s Toontown Morning Madness, an
interactive experience with Disney characters. Early Entry is also
available for Fantasyland.
Each Walt Disney Travel Company package includes a Downtown
Disney District Fun Card that provides discounts to Downtown Disney
stores. Value Season packages start at $269 per person based on
double occupancy at a nearby Disney Good Neighbor hotel.
At the Walt Disney World Resort, the popular portfolio of Magic
Your Way packages continues in 2008, and two new dining packages
give travel agents up-selling opportunities when booking Walt
Disney World vacations. The Magic Your Way Package Plus Deluxe
Dining is a new vacation option that gives clients an easy and
affordable way to experience a wide variety of select restaurants
and save as much as 30 percent on dining. The Wine and Dine Plan
can be added to any meal- inclusive Magic Your Way package. This
option offers a bottle of wine per room, per night, from a
designated wine list at select restaurants at Disney Resort hotels
and theme parks as well as merchandise locations. In other Walt
Disney World Resort news, Disney-MGM Studios will be renamed
Disney’s Hollywood Studios, effective January 2008.

Conrad Announces New GDS Chain Code
The contemporary luxury hotel brand, Conrad Hotels &
Resorts, is set to launch its own dedicated GDS Chain Code, “CN”.
The new GDS code takes effect on Sept. 19, and from then on, all
Conrad hotels and resorts worldwide will be available using the CN
designation. The Conrad properties will no longer be visible under
the “HH” code of the Hilton Family of Hotels, but will remain
accessible under the “EH” (Every Hilton) code and via all existing
reservation numbers. The Web addresses of ConradHotels.com and
ConradMeetings.com will not change and Conrad Hotels & Resorts
will continue to provide the Conrad luxury services for which the
brand is known.
Conrad Hotels & Resorts plans to continue growing its global
portfolio. The brand currently has 17 luxury properties in leading
urban and resort destinations. Conrad Maldives Rangali Island will
launch this December, and additional Conrad Hotels & Resorts
are also under development in Shanghai, Abu Dhabi, Dubai, The
