W Hotels Worldwide has selected Jim McPartlin to act as the general manager of W Hollywood Hotel & Residences, soon to be unveiled in the Hollywood district of Los Angeles at the historic corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street.
McPartlin brings with him more than 25 years of hospitality experience, including a decade working for the Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant Group in San Francisco. More recently, McPartlin was the senior vice president of operations and administration at Andre Balazs’ properties, which include the Chateau Marmont, The Mercer Hotel and The Standard Hotel in New York.
“We are thrilled to have Jim return to W Hotels as general manger of W Hollywood, which is soon to be a global flagship hotel for the W brand,” said Eva Ziegler, global brand leader, W Hotels Worldwide and Le Meridien.
