Martin “Marty” Kandel has been appointed by International Cruise & Excursions, Inc. (ICE) as the executive vice president of global business operations. In his new role, Kandel will be responsible for all resort business development and client relationships, as well as overseeing the company’s global operations.
“We are very pleased to welcome Marty to our executive leadership team,” said John Rowley, CEO and president of the company. “His experience will be valuable as we continue to expand globally. He will be instrumental in our growth into these markets as well as an overall excellent addition to our management team.”
Kandel is a former Maryland Assistant Attorney General, for which he was responsible for the direct representation of the Maryland Real Estate Commission and Commissioner of Consumer Credit. He has served many roles within sales and marketing groups and was most recently the president of European operations for Diamond Resorts International as well as chief strategy officer for Shell Vacations.
