Now that Maui’s newest visitor accommodation, Honua Kai Resort & Spa, is completely open, it is inviting travel agents for a free three-night stay any time from Sept. 1-Nov. 30.
Dubbed the Red Umbrella Getaway after the shade umbrellas dotting the resort’s grounds, the promotion promises to familiarize travel agents with the northwest Maui property, including its new Konea Tower, Aquatic Playground and Duke’s Beach House restaurant.
As part of the deal, agents go on a one-hour tour of the 38-acre, oceanfront resort, which features 628 one-, two- and three-bedroom suites with hotel-style services and condominium conveniences such as full kitchens.
“This is a great chance to exchange information and develop friendships with many new travel agents as well as connect with those we have been working with over the last year,” said Honua Kai sales director Barrett De Santos.
