Richard E. Sasso, president and CEO of MSC Cruises has been named chairman of the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Marketing Committee effective Jan. 1.
"In addition to running MSC Cruises, it is an honor to take the helm of the CLIA Marketing Committee. I view it as an opportunity to use my years of experience to help spread the word about the remarkable value of a cruise experience," said Sasso, who has been involved in the travel industry for 40 years.
