Bob Brennan, the former president of Sunmakers Travel Group, is the
new president and one of three new owners of Glacier Bay
Cruiseline, a Seattle-based adventure company.
Brennan, along with Doug Toms and Don Simplot, bought the
three-ship line from Juneau-based Goldbelt, an Alaska native
corporation.
Brennan also has served as president of Signature Travel, a
small chain of travel agencies; senior vice president of marketing,
sales and administration for Holland America Line-Westours; and
president of Princess Tours.
Glacier Bay operates three vessels carrying from 31 to
87passengers. Each has its own fleet of kayaks.
The company has already announced a new itinerary on Oregon’s
Columbia, Snake and Willamette rivers. The weekly cruises will
depart in April and May and again in September and October with
prices starting at $1,200.
