As of March 1, Barbados has announced that visitors from the United
States and Canada must be in possession of a valid passport to
enter the country. Cruise ship passengers, however, will be
considered “in transit” and will not be subject to the new
requirements.
The change is due to “recent world events,” according to a press
release, and is designed to increase security.
