Marquis Los Cabos is making it easy for green-minded couples to create a conscience-clear wedding. The resort’s Green Weddings package includes a bridal bouquet using locally grown organic flowers; Baja wine; fruits and vegetables grown at a nearby organic farm; natural decor, including organic centerpieces; and an eco-friendly bonfire. Couples will also receive a wedding reception dinner and drinks, daily meals from any of the hotel’s restaurants, unlimited drinks from on-site bars and a special green turndown service using the resort’s Green Hotel Program.
The price for this package is $355 per person, per night, for a Junior Suite, and $595 per person, per night, for a Private Pool Casita. The Green Weddings package is available for a minimum of 30 people through Dec. 15, 2012. Price for decor and setup is an additional $28 per person.
As a special gift, guests attending weddings in September and October will be able to release a baby turtle as a way of wishing the bride and groom the best of luck while helping the resort’s turtle protection program.
