Samantha Steckbeck has been named the vice president of leisure sales, the Americas, for The Oberoi Group. Steckbeck will take charge of Oberoi’s relationship with industry trade partners and plans to focus on a leisure sales strategy encompassing Oberoi luxury hotels, resorts and cruises.
While working for Orient-Express Hotels as the director of sales and retail accounts, North America, Steckbeck managed corporate sales relationships with travel networks such as Amex Centurion, Amex Fine Hotels and Resorts, Virtuoso, Signature Travel Network and Andrew Harper Alliance. Prior to joining Orient-Express Hotels in 2003, she was the manager of worldwide corporate and travel industry sales for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts in Chicago and Los Angeles.
Steckbeck will report to Alistair Ballantine, the company’s senior vice president of sales and marketing within the Americas.
