Aruba unveiled plans to introduce an Online Bridal Registry, and
Starwood Hotel & Resorts, in a separate move, launched a
honeymoon registry Monday in partnership with WeddingChannel.com.
Aruba’s registry will be available on the island’s home page
(www.aruba.com) beginning next month, officials said. Friends and
family members will be able to log on to the site and view the
couple’s honeymoon wish list, which can include everything from
hotel stays to sunset sails and candlelight dinners.
Meanwhile, using Starwood’s new registry, brides and grooms can
visit www.spg.com/honeymoons, for trip ideas, and then they can
register with WeddingChannel.com for a wedding trip to any St.
Regis, Luxury Collection, Westin, W, Sheraton and Four Points by
Sheraton hotel around the world. In addition, friends and family
can contribute “Honey Money” in various denominations to bankroll
the travel.
