Plaza Travel agents participated in the recent Victory for Victims 5K Walk/Run in Lake Balboa. The travel agency held out a helping hand to aid the Northridge Hospital’s Center for Assault Treatment Services (CATS) by taking part in a 5K walk/run for awareness, which expressed CATS’ mission to assure and promote dignity and respect for victims of sexual assault and abuse, minimize trauma, help lead the role to recovery as well as provide law enforcement for maximum criminal prosecution.
The event, held at Lake Balboa Park in Encino, Calif. Seventeen participants from Plaza Travel, a mix of both agents and family members, were able to raise $520 with donations still coming in.
