The Queen Mary 2 will leave the Atlantic Ocean for the first time
in 2006 to sail around Cape Horn, South America, and up the Pacific
coast to Los Angeles.
Between January and April 2006, the ship will sail to several
ports in South America, to the Mexican Riviera, Hawaii and Los
Angeles.
Multiple itineraries are available along the route, including a
three-night “West Coast Escape,” Feb. 22-25, 2006, roundtrip from
Los Angeles to Ensenada, and an 11-day “Royal Hawaiian Liner,”
departing Feb. 25, that sails roundtrip from Los Angeles to the
Hawaiian Islands.
The QM2 is the largest, longest, tallest, widest and most
expensive passenger vessel ever built. It currently sails Atlantic
and Caribbean cruises out of New York and Florida.
