Robert Friedman Joins Cox & Kings as V.P. of Agency Sales

Robert Friedman has been appointed as the new vice president of agency sales for Cox & Kings, The Americas. In his new role working for this more than 250-year-old name, Friedman will oversee the company’s retail sales in North America.

“One of our 2013 strategic growth objectives is to hire an industry sales veteran who could spearhead the effort of more than doubling our sales force,” said Scott Wiseman, president of Cox & Kings, The Americas. “Having previously worked with Bob, I know his abilities are aptly suited for the position. Bob’s style, ability and track record to lead and grow his team will only enhance Cox & Kings’ position as an industry leader.”

Friedman has 20 years of experience in the consumer products and travel industries. Most recently before joining Cox & Kings, he served as vice president of sales for Abercrombie & Kent. Prior to that, he worked as vice president of sales and field marketing for Royal Caribbean International. Also, for 12 years he held several field and headquarters-based management roles for The Pepsi Cola Company. While at Pepsi he led a regional sales force and headed a national and corporate HR training and development team.
