San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom’s order to issue marriage licenses
to same-sex couples may be just the right touch for the city’s
tourism industry. Pan Pacific San Francisco, for one, said it
expects increased demand for its Commitment Ceremony packages. The
hotel offers comprehensive planning services, room blocks,
rehearsal dinners, morning-after brunches, wedding ceremonies,
themed receptions, menu selection, floral arrangements, wine and
champagne and more.
The Union Square hotel is also offering a Gay Celebration
package good through the end of the year. The package includes one
night in a superior room, champagne and chocolate-dipped
strawberries for $299.
