The Saint Lucia Tourist Board (SLTB) is enhancing its Preferred Agent Saint Lucia Specialist (PASS) program with the new Piton Awards, launching in the U.S. and Canada in September. Travel agent and agency partners participating in PASS will be automatically enrolled and eligible to earn new incentives from participating hotels, monthly cash prizes of $500 to the top booking travel agent and agency and the opportunity to win a grand prize of a Saint Lucia-branded car.
“Our valued travel agent and agency partners are a precious resource in selling Saint Lucia to travelers, and we want to reward them for their ongoing support,” said Nerdin St. Rose, SLTB’s vice president of marketing and sales. “Our goal is to ensure that agents have the tools they need to be successful as well as giving them the opportunity to experience first-hand all that Saint Lucia has to offer.”
The Piton Awards is an annual program that runs through May 31, 2013. To be eligible, agents must complete the Saint Lucia Specialist Course, be IATA/CLIA/ARC/CLAA certified, attend a Saint Lucia presentation at least once per year and update bookings online regularly. www.saintlucianow.com
