John Delaney has been recruited as the senior vice president of sales and marketing for Seabourn Cruise Line. The appointment comes during the company’s reorganization due to the relocation of its corporate headquarters to Seattle.
Prior to his position at Seabourn, Delaney served as vice president of revenue marketing for Holland America Line (HAL), where he was responsible for the management, forecasting and budgeting of cruise fare revenue as well as a number of direct-marketing programs.
“John has had a very positive impact on HAL’s revenue management and marketing efforts during the time he has held that position, and I am certain that he will bring this same success to his new position,” said Richard D. Meadows, who will become Seabourn’s president at the conclusion of the reorganization. “We look for John to make a great contribution to Seabourn and his strong leadership abilities will help guide the transition to Seattle.”
