The Travel Industry Association of America (TIA) has selected Roger
Dow as its new president and CEO. Dow, a 30-plus-year veteran of
the travel industry, will assume the top position at TIA on Jan.1.
Dow comes to the TIA from Marriott International where he was
senior vice president of global and field sales. In his 34 years
with Marriott, Dow directed a wide variety of sales and marketing
programs and departments. He also led the development of Marriott’s
frequent travel program a program which currently enrolls more than
20 million members.
“Roger brings a broad and distinguished record of achievement to
our organization,” said Bruce Wolff, TIA national chair. “With our
industry continuing to face unprecedented challenges, his vision,
experience and leadership will be critical.”
