Tour operator Tauck recently announced a multi-year partnership with documentary filmmaker Ken Burns and his longtime collaborator Dayton Duncan. Duncan and Burns — who have “The Civil War,” “Baseball,” “Jazz” and “The National Parks: America’s Best Idea,” to their credit — will work with Tauck on several projects including developing new itineraries and creating special events during which the filmmakers will make an appearance. The Ken Burns American Journeys partnership will also create a series of short films for use by Tauck on a number of its U.S. itineraries. The exclusive films will be aired on-tour and will convey the history, cultural significance and personal stories of the people who shaped the places visited on Tauck vacations.
