The National Tour Association (NTA) once again partnered with the United Motorcoach Association (UMA) for the Travel Exchange this year. The event was held Feb. 16-20 at the Los Angeles Convention Center and featured more than 3,600 suppliers, presentations, destination forums, luncheons and more. The Travel Exchange also debuted a special travel agent event on Feb. 19.
The Feb. 19 event opened with a travel agent tour and orientation, followed by presentations and opportunities for networking before a special luncheon sponsored by the State of Alaska and Norwegian Cruise Line. The luncheon included guest speakers from Norwegian and Alaska and an awards ceremony. Alaska won NTA’s Shining Star award for its sponsorship and commitment to the NTA last year.
The NTA also announced its new board of directors and the launch of the Faith Travel Association (FTA), a subsidiary of NTA Services, Inc. that provides support to travel agents planning faith-based trips for their clients.
