Travel Bound recently announced the Race Around the World, a new contest to incentivize agents to book a wider variety of destinations. The agent who books hotels to the most countries by Oct. 31 will be awarded a $10,000 credit toward Travel Bound services anywhere in the world. Selling exclusively through travel agents, Travel Bound has a portfolio of more than 35,000 hotels and more than 48,000 tours, transfers and other services in a total of 130 countries.
"We created this contest to emphasize the breadth and depth of Travel Bound products around the world," explained Richie Karaburun, president of Travel Bound/GTA North America. "In a fun way, we are educating agents that we are a truly global partner that delivers products everywhere on earth. And since we only sell through agents, we are always trying to come up with new ways to thank the booking agent for being our partner."
Bookings made between Jan. 1 and Oct. 31 will qualify, and winners will be announced on Dec. 1.
In addition to the first prize worth $10,000 in Travel Bound credit, there are three other prizes: the second prize is $1,000 in Travel Bound credit, third is $500 credit and 10 fourth prize winners will receive a $50 gift card.
