Uniworld Boutique River Cruise Collection has recently improved its reservation platform to streamline the travel agent booking process and ultimately make it more satisfying for professionals and consumers alike. The River Currents tool has been enhanced with upgraded technology, and now advisors can waitlist their clients on sold-out voyages. The new functionality is available for both Uniworld- and U by Uniworld-branded sailings.

Based on their recommendations, we are delighted to deliver these new updates.”
Advisor suggestions included having the ability to waitlist guests on cruises that had already sold out. As a result, agents can currently place their customers on such selected sailings for a minimal deposit. Plus, River Currents was updated with its own set of features.

Notable features include expanded promo code functionality and messaging that displays the code’s status as either “successfully applied” or “rejected/invalid.” Also, once the promo code has been applied, it will indicate the exact savings amount from the start. Advisors no longer have to fully complete the reservation before seeing the detailed breakout. Similarly, any applicable shipboard credits will be shown in the outlined savings during the reservation process.
What’s more, advisors can send, view, print or e-mail a copy of the booking invoice directly from within River Currents. Lastly, all reservations placed in the platform are now displayed and labeled with their status, either Confirmed, Paid in Full, Deposit, Released or Canceled.
Just how well are Uniworld’s new booking abilities being received? For sales and overall convenience, the answer is very well according to Danny Genung, CEO of Harr Travel.
