New Website Provides Social Media Content for Agents

Sep 11, 2010
Passport Online Inc., an Internet marketing company for leisure travel agents and suppliers, recently debuted its latest product — Agent SociaLink — which enables travel agents to populate their blogs, Twitter feeds and Facebook accounts with a few simple clicks.

The new website works by allowing agents to pick and choose among travel-related content that they can link to their respective social media outlets. One feature, called “Build a Blog,” even allows agents to utilize a fill-in-the-blank format to create a customizable blog post related to a particular cruise or trip. Another feature generates URL links from popular travel media sources that agents can easily copy and paste into their blogs, Twitter and Facebook accounts. Supplier Guest Blogs consisting of content written by Passport Online’s travel partners, such as tour operators and cruise lines, are also available for agents to use. With the Supplier Guest Blogs, agents who have already purchased Passport Online’s VacationPort and NexCite services may also link supplier offers from within the blog directly to their agencies’ websites via pre-embedded, search engine-friendly links.

The cost for existing Passport Online customers who have purchased VacationPort or NexCite is $25 per month for the Agent SociaLink service. Non-Passport Online customers pay $45 per month for Agent SociaLink. Costs include customer service and training.
