Starwood Hotels & Resorts recently announced the 10,000th graduate of its core ProLearning module, Loyalty and Brands. Elizabeth Culver of Adeline Travel Inc., a Virtuoso agency, was the 10,000th travel professional to graduate and received 10,000 Starpoints for her to redeem for free stays, services, merchandise and more.
The ProLearning module is a 25-minute online training program that is designed to help travel professionals better understand each of Starwood’s nine brands and gives agents exclusive access to the hotel company’s lowest room rates, which start at $69 per night. Each of the four current training modules contains video, audio, high-resolution images and other learning aids.
Starwood launched its first brand-specific module through ProLearning earlier this month to help travel professionals learn about the $6 billion Sheraton Revitalization effort. Approximately 15,000 travel professionals watched the five-minute video and completed the questionnaire to qualify for a free night’s stay at one of Sheraton’s new or newly renovated properties in North America.
Debuting later this year will be destination modules for StarwoodPro, launching first with Caribbean and Hawaii modules.
