Global Travel Marketplace West (GTM West) is making its Las Vegas debut this year, with the signature event moving to the Westin Lake Las Vegas, May 18 to 20. Applications for GTM West close at midnight on Friday, March 31. Interested travel advisors are urged to complete their applications prior to the deadline to be considered for this appointment-based event for top-producers.

Selections from the final qualified applicant pool will be made to assure the best representation from throughout the western states for this year’s event.”
GTM West, an award-winning business networking event, gives pre-approved travel advisors the opportunity to meet new suppliers; to build upon relationships with suppliers they already know; and to network with peers. Selected advisors will attend as VIP guests and will be fully hosted, including roundtrip air, a three-night hotel stay, meals, networking opportunities and invitations to events.
To qualify, advisors must have a minimum of $800,000 in individual annual sales or be an owner of a multimillion-dollar agency. In addition, all candidates must have the authority to make product and partner decisions. GTM West is for advisors from Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Hawaii, and the Canadian provinces of British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan.

Attendees will have a chance to meet one-on-one with a selection of 100 of the industry’s top and most unique suppliers — from individual properties, such as Conrad Bora Bora Nui or Vail Corporation, to diverse destinations, such as Barbados, Napa Valley, Korea, SouthWest Germany, Flanders and many more. Top mainstream tour wholesalers include Apple Vacations and Avanti Destinations, and boutique region specialists — such as Alluring Asia, Black Forest Highlands, insight Cuba, and Select Italy and Select Croatia — will also be in attendance.

GTM West includes two days of one-on-one, pre-scheduled meetings. All travel advisors and suppliers will have up to 50 one-on-one meetings, and each of these meetings lasts six minutes. Advisors will also participate in boardroom presentations, in which suppliers meet with advisors in a collaborative and interactive environment.
