For companies looking for unique team-building activities, the Renaissance Seattle Hotel recently announced a new partnership with American Outback Adventures and Events, a leading provider of corporate team-building events, group activities and professional corporate training.
“We are continuously looking for new and meaningful ways to add value to our groups,” said Renaissance Seattle Hotel sales and marketing director Nancy Helms. “Last year was tough on so many teams, and we wanted to provide them with a way to connect, regroup and bond after such a tumultuous time.
Groups can book any of five new meeting breaks. Among the options is the Amazing Chase, where teams work together to navigate through a custom-designed Seattle course.
The Apprentice has teams build children’s bikes, then design an ad campaign for them. The bikes are donated to charity.
As part of the Boat Building Regatta, teams build boats from cardboard, put together a presentation to sell their vessels, then test their boats on the water.
The Crime Investigators program has teams take on the role of forensic investigators as they search for clues in order to solve a case.
During Dining in the Dark, participants interact with each other during a meal in the pitch black.
Meanwhile, the Renaissance Seattle has unveiled a spring meetings package providing groups with a significant discount through May 31. With room rates from $139 per week night and $99 on weekend nights, the program features flexible menu pricing, triple Marriott Rewards points, one free room for every 30 actualized, discounted parking and a 10 percent rebate to the master account based on the total number of group rooms.
With 26,781 square feet of meeting space and seven separate meeting rooms, the Renaissance Seattle recently completed a $28 million renovation.
