Bumbershoot, North America’s largest urban arts festival, celebrates its 43rd year with a jam-packed lineup from Aug. 31-Sept 2, 2013.
Located on Seattle Center’s 74-acre campus, the festival is expected to host more than 100 different musical talents during Labor Day weekend.
This year's celebration features a slate of Seattle-grown artists including Death Cab for Cutie and Heart. Other headliners include Fun, Icona Pop and MGMT.
Zombies invade the festival both on and off the stage this year when Seattle’s own ‘60s band, The Zombies, performs on Sun., Sept. 1. Off the stage, “zombies” will once again dance among Bumbershoot ticket holders during the zombie flash mob.
People from all walks of life are welcome to enjoy Bumbershoot's food, theater, dance, literature, film, visual arts and comedy. Bumbershoot fans appreciate the interactive elements and hands-on experience that most vendors provide.
Tickets for Bumbershoot are on sale now. Single-day passes cost $50-$55 per person and three-day passes are $120.
