The Dallas Convention and Visitors Bureau (Dallas CVB) has announced a new brand campaign that aims to market Dallas to visitors as a center for culture and opportunity.
“Dallas has been virtually reimagined over the past five years,” said Phillip Jones, president and CEO of the Dallas CVB.
Touting the tag line, “Big Things Happen Here,” the campaign will promote the city’s fresh, modern image, telling a new story for the city. The line also translates nicely to Spanish — “Cosas Grandes Pasan Aqui” — reflecting and embracing the state’s demographic shift as well.
Dallas is the top visitor destination in Texas and home to some of the best shopping in the Southwest, the largest contiguous urban arts district in the country and a cutting-edge culinary scene. A new 1000-room hotel adjacent to the Dallas Convention Center and more than 200 golf courses are only a small sampling of the attractive amenities that Dallas offers visitors.
After eight months of research and the input of thousands of Dallas residents, the “Big Things Happen Here” campaign will launch in January, solidifying Dallas’s place on the map as a top destination for visitors, residents, small businesses and entrepreneurs.
