The Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, located in Beverly Hills, Calif., is in the process of a soon-to-be-completed $33 million renovation to give the hotel a more modern, contemporary look and feel. So far, updates to the hotel’s guestrooms, Ballroom, Windows Lounge, patio area and Cabana Restaurant, which began last August, have already been completed.

“We are very excited about the recent enhancements to the hotel,” said general manager Mehdi Eftekari. “The completion of the new design allows us to offer an even more impressive hotel that complements the renowned personalized service from our experienced staff.”

This March will mark the completion of the renovations when the hotel debuts its new signature restaurant, Culina, Modern Italian, helmed by chef Victor Casanova, formerly of The Phoenician in Scottsdale, Ariz. The restaurant, opening on March 1, will feature a crudo bar, chef’s table and two lounges.

Prior to the opening of the new signature restaurant, which will replace the hotel’s Gardens Restaurant, the hotel is offering complimentary room upgrades throughout the month of February, based on availability. Clients who book a Premier Room will be upgraded to a Four Seasons Executive Suite; Four Seasons Executive Suites guests will be upgraded to a Deluxe Executive Suite; and guests who book a Deluxe Executive Suite will be upgraded to a One Bedroom Suite.

The property’s 285 guestrooms and suites have been redesigned to evoke 1940’s Hollywood glamour with mirrored wall paneling and white-gold chinoiserie headboards. Hues include warm tans, fair woods and a pop of color in the form of teal, violet or coral accents. Bathrooms were also updated to include glass closures for the shower/bath tub area, new flat-screen televisions, new fixtures and a new vanity.

Also, for Valentine’s Day, the hotel is offering an Everlasting Valentine’s Day Package whereby couples can work together privately with a custom perfume specialist, Kedra Hart from Opus Oils’ Jitterbug Perfume Parlour, to create their own personal fragrance. The package also includes accommodations for one night, breakfast for two and the choice of a specialty cocktail. It is available from Feb. 12-14 and starts at $535 per night. Additionally, couples can also choose to take part in a Lover’s Duet Couples Massage for 60 ($380) or 90 ($490) minutes; they can also add on a 30-minute private massage instructional session to learn how to give massages at home for an extra $105.

In the hotel’s fourth-floor Cabana Restaurant and upper pool terrace, heaters have been added to provide warmth at night and a new lighting and outdoor sound system was installed. The pool area was also updated with new lounge chairs and an updated infinity-edge saline pool. The Cabana Restaurant’s menu now includes categories of Indulgence, Energy Booster, Antioxidant, Comfort and Kid’s Corner, to help guests when ordering.

And the Four Seasons’ 4,000-square-foot Ballroom, which will host the upcoming TravelAge West WAVE Awards Gala on June 10, was also renovated to include expansive arched windows to filter in natural light. The property’s notable Windows Lounge, a favorite watering hole for celebrities, was also updated with a new glass bar top, a green onyx fireplace and wooden wine cabinets. The outdoor patio area adjacent to the lounge now includes additional seating for up to 25 guests as well.
