Fourth of July Freedom Fest at the Fairmont Scottsdale

Clients can celebrate independence weekend with the Fourth of July Freedom Fest at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. The property’s first holiday weekend event will feature concerts, fireworks and poolside activities exclusively for resort guests.

Throughout the weekend, the Scottsdale, Ariz. property will host festive poolside barbeques and American dinner buffets at the LV Bistro and La Hacienda. All-day adult dining passes will be available for $55 along with children’s passes for $25. Spirited specialty cocktails will be served as well.

The resort’s Willow Stream Spa also offers holiday-inspired treatments, such as the Margarita Pedicure, which features a refreshing treat along with the package for $89.

At the 6,000 square-foot pool complex, there will be balloon tosses, caricature artists, jugglers, hula hoop contests, poolside massages and a visit from Uncle Sam on stilts. Bobcat Billy’s Clubhouse offers entertainment for kids ages 5 through 12.

Concerts preformed by Three Dog Night, Zowie Bowie and John Ondrasik from Five for Fighting take place under the stars each night of the holiday weekend preceding the firework shows.

Rates during the weekend of July 1-3 start at $199 per night and there is a two-night minimum for clients staying on Saturday night. Fourth of July vacation packages include concerts, fireworks and any complimentary resort activities. A portion of the proceeds from each package will benefit Friends of Freedom, a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships to military families.

The holiday weekend also kicks off Fairmont Scottsdale’s summer schedule. Every Saturday night from the Fourth of July through Labor Day weekend, the resort will put on a fireworks show.
