Before exploring close to a million acres’ worth of trails, guests start with a Saddle Up horsemanship clinic in the arena, where they choose a horse to ride. Every day, guests can ride to their hearts’ delight with one of the ranch’s expert wranglers. In addition to the ranch’s numerous trails, prairies and mountainous terrain, novice and experienced riders will also enjoy working with cattle and learning skills such as individual and team sorting and penning. More experienced riders have an opportunity to try barrel racing and roping.
At the end of a day spent in the arena, guests can unwind and kick off their shoes for a honey-and-hot-cream rock foot massage.
In the evening, guests wind down and enjoy a vintner’s presentation and cocktail reception, followed by a down-home, Montana-style dinner. Then, guests can head down to the Blue Moon for some two stepping or check out the hot tub for more relaxation under the stars.
The all-inclusive Cowgirl Up package includes: accommodations for seven days and six nights; all meals; private vintner’s presentation; gourmet picnic lunch on Spencer Lake; team penning/sorting and cow cutting activities; evening cocktail receptions; dance lessons; roping, barrel racing, shooting, fly-casting lessons and archery; a two-hour spa package; honey, hot cream and hot rock foot massage; and a half-hour massage.
