The 194-room Westmark Baranof Hotel in downtown Juneau has proved to be a popular retreat among clients for many reasons such as its elegant accommodations, art deco charm and proximity to the airport and cruise docks. Guests who stay at least two nights at the hotel qualify for the Stay & Ride package, which includes two free Mount Roberts Tramway tickets and a $50 dining credit for use at either the Gold Room Restaurant or the Bubble Lounge after 5 p.m.
At the top of the tram, visitors can explore a nature center and browse the surrounding shops. Also on the mountaintop, native artists give demonstrations of their crafts, and the Chilkat Theater performs shows for free. Hiking trails, an observatory and the Timberline Bar & Grill round out the amenities there.
