Whether your clients have visions of plucking wine grapes from the vine, brewing up a batch of fresh beer, driving cattle across the range or creating handmade artisan chocolates, their dreams may come true thanks to a new program from Travel Oregon.
As the cornerstone of this year's Oregon Bounty celebration -- a collection of fall culinary festivals and events -- the state has announced the Cuisinternship Contest, offering the internship of a lifetime to seven lucky winners.
Culinary wannabes can enter to win an apprenticeship with one of seven of Oregon's culinary icons − a chef, cheesemaker/ chocolatier, craft brewer, distiller, rancher, charter boat skipper and winemaker.
Anyone can post a compelling written, photo or video entry for the chance to earn an all-expenses paid trip to Oregon for a five-day, six-night culinary dream adventure, during which they will work alongside Oregon's epicurean artisans to create their own masterpieces.
The deadline to enter the contest is September 18.
