The Cliffs Resort, which has undergone a multimillion-dollar renovation this summer, is helping out guests age 50 and older with a 50 percent discount. From Nov. 29 through Feb. 15, eligible visitors to the upscale 160-room Pismo Beach resort can enjoy half-off rates on lodging, dining and more.
Ocean/Pool View rooms — which feature a private balcony that overlooks the ocean, the hotel courtyard, the swimming pool and the lounge terrace — are eligible for the discount rate. Rooms include complimentary wireless access, a work station, an Italian marble bathroom and a fireplace upon request. As of last month, all rooms include a new, 42-inch HD flat-screen television.
Ocean/Pool View rooms regularly start at $149 for Sunday through Thursday visits and upgrades to Oceanfront Suites cost $199. On select weekends, Ocean/Pool View rooms are priced at $179.
Seniors can also enjoy half-off prices on one entree with the purchase of one full-priced meal at Marisol, the hotel’s oceanfront restaurant and lounge which features sweeping views of the Pacific, modern Latin cuisine, live entertainment and a five-time award winning champagne Sunday brunch. Additionally, the hotel’s gift shop will offer half-off mark-offs on selected items.
