Portland Walking Tours has announced a limited-opportunity Halloween event for ghost hunters and fans of the paranormal. Called Way Beyond Bizarre, the tour is available on three evenings in late October 2012.
During the tour, guests meet real ghost-hunters and paranormal historians like Jefferson Davis, get up-close and personal with a working clairvoyant and receive inside access to a location lauded by paranormal experts as one of the most haunted sites on the entire west coast.
This Halloween special takes place on Oct. 26, October 27 and October 31 at 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. In addition, the company’s regular Beyond Bizarre tours continue to run at 7 and 10 p.m. each night, with extra daily tours from Oct. 18-31.
“We're the only place where guests can handle and explore real ghost hunting equipment and techniques,” according to founder and paranormal researcher David Schargel. “And with these three special events, they also get exclusive access inside the actual century-old hotel where rage-filled murders make for wickedly active hauntings.”
Priced at $75 per person -- with an “early bat" price of $50 thru Oct. 15 -- the Way Beyond Bizarre tour is limited to 15 guests per group to preserve the intimate, personal nature of the experience.
