This year, Affinity’s 2009 Rally is celebrating its 10th anniversary in Albuquerque, N.M., with thousands of RV enthusiasts and owners from across North America. From April 17-20, RV owners will camp side-by-side on event grounds along historic Route 66 at the Expo New Mexico.
Participants in the rally will take part in events that include new eco-focused initiatives and contests to explore green RVing and travel; various daily product exhibits with more than 1,000 RV models from top manufacturers on display and available for test drives; nightly music entertainment, including a concert by Neil Sedaka; tours of Indian ruins, whitewater rafting trips, the Sixth Annual Dog Show and a golf tournament; an attempt to break the world record for the most people wearing balloon hats; and a volunteer day spent weeding and planting at the Rio Grande Farm, which provides produce to city schools and local organizations.
Nearly 8,000 RVers are expected to gather over the three-plus-days event, The Rally 2009, which is North America’s largest RV Rally.
