The Hotel at The Los Angeles Athletic Club (LAAC), located in downtown Los Angeles, offers two new packages for clients to immerse themselves in the world of cycling. Cycle enthusiasts of every level can choose between the two Room to Ride packages, available April 16-May 23 and May 21-22.

With the first package, clients can book a two-night stay in the fitness suite, which features an in-room stationary bike and includes a Livestrong amenity basket with Livestrong products such as a yellow bracelet, water bottle and blanket. Clients who enjoy cycle classes have VIP seating at one of the club’s popular scheduled spin classes with this package. For those looking to unwind a bit, this package also offers a relaxing sports massage for two as well as complimentary cycle-inspired cocktails, including the Bone Shaker, a shaken vodka martini named after early bicycle models that used wooden wheels. This package is available from April 16 to May 23 and prices start at $505.

The second Room to Ride package offers a special VIP experience to devout cyclists and coincides with the Tour of California Los Angeles, which takes place on May 22. Guests can enjoy all the amenities of the previously mentioned package, plus guests can participate in a timed trial ride pedaling their own bikes the day before the race on the same course that the professionals will use. In addition to the course ride, the VIP experience also offers dinner with the professional cyclists. Guests are also invited to watch the race from the third floor Main Bar of the Athletic Club. For an additional $250, guests can choose to upgrade to one of the nine themed suites offered at LAAC, including the UCLA Suite, USC Suite and the Polo Suite. Dates for this package are May 21-22 and prices start at $2,355.

First opened in 1880 in downtown Los Angeles, the new Hotel at The Los Angeles Athletic Club unveiled its multimillion-dollar renovation with 72 rooms and nine themed suites. Clients have full use of the club’s 80,000-square-foot fitness facility and complimentary breakfast for two each morning.
