Fans of the “Star Wars” movie franchise may want to head to Edmonton, Alberta, this fall for an exclusive opportunity to participate in an interactive exhibit — “Star Wars Identities” — before it travels around to 10 other cities in Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America.
“Star Wars Identities,” which opens at the Telus World of Science — Edmonton, on Oct. 27, features a collection of memorabilia from the Lucasfilm Archives and insightful scientific content based on the dramatic journeys of Luke and Anakin Skywalker. Clients follow in the footsteps of one of cinema’s most famous father-and-son duos in a customized, interactive identity quest. Through the exhibit, visitors will develop a better understanding of what makes the characters of “Star Wars” who they are.
“We are thrilled to present an exhibition of this magnitude,” said Donald DaSilva Pelton, manager of marketing and communications for the Telus World of Science — Edmonton. “We truly believe that hosting this exhibition will be an inspirational experience for everyone involved.”
According to Pelton, visitors will see the characters of “Star Wars” in a new way. Through the magic of cutting-edge multimedia, visitors will also be able to create their own “Star Wars” character that combines elements of their own identity with those of their favorite fictional characters.
